Acting Lab: Acting with Honesty
Taught by Dylan Wright
Saturdays, June 6-27, 2026, 3:30-5:30pm
Students will learn in this four-week class that one's performance is given to them by the other actor on stage. They will learn to trust their listening and become aware of the most truthful impulses in the moment. Employing their whole instrument, they will become grounded, courageous, and thoughtful in their acting. We will relentlessly pursue the truth and rid ourselves of anything that feels false in our craft. The class will end with a presentation of a monologue which will be performed for the entire class, utilizing the principles taught.
