Our Musical Theatre Companies offer a structured, high-level experience where students train in acting, voice, and dance while working together as a performance ensemble. Designed for committed students, these companies combine skill-building with real production experience.
Auditions for 2026-2027 companies are April 25th!

Our Approach
We believe strong, naturalistic acting is the foundation of musical theatre.
Students train in authentic, story-driven performance while building the vocal and dance technique needed to become well-rounded, versatile performers..
Comprehensive Training
Students receive weekly instruction in:
- Acting
- Vocal technique & music
- Dance (with leveled placement based on ability)
- Musical Theatre skills (doing all 3 at once!)
Each student is placed in the level that best supports their growth, allowing them to be challenged while building confidence.

- Weekly classes
- Attendance expectations
- Two full-scale performances on one of The Ruth's main stages
COMPANY TUITION AND STRUCTURE
Specific schedules, tuition, and full program details will be shared after auditions and placement announcements. As we launch this new Academy program, we are carefully shaping each company to maintain a high level of training, collaboration, and performance quality.
Companies typically meet 2-3 times per week, with additional rehearsals for youth productions. Families will have the opportunity to review all details before completing registration.
